BellaVita has teamed up with world renowned formulator Lara Wright of the Green Valley Spa and Lab to create our exclusive line of essential oil blends. Using historically renowned oils from the Mediterranean region we now offer 12 powerful blends that cover a wide range of emotional and physical needs. Mediterranean oils like Lavender, Thyme, Oregano, Italian Blood Orange, Bergamot and Frankincense are blended with other treasured oils to create our Essential Healing line. Each oil blend has it’s own beauti- ful aroma and can address it’s own specific health need.
What Are Essential Oils?
Certain plants contain complex and powerful substances known as essential oils. These have been called “the lifeblood of the plant”. They are a super concentrated liquid that comes from roots, leaves and flowers of very fragrant plants. For example it can take thousands of flower petals to create the drops that are in a single bottle of our essential oil blends. And adding a single drop of peppermint oil to a glass of water has approximately the same concentration as 20 bags of peppermint tea. Because each essential oil has a different fragrance and nutritional profile, they offer a wide range of emotional and physical remedies.

Lara Wright is a second generation aromatherapy pioneer and developer of high end all natural skin and body care products. She is world renowned for developing her organic line of skin care products at her Green Valley Lab in the Southwest USA. She also develops product lines for Award Winning Green Valley Spa. Great care has been given to each blend in the collection using Medi- terranean oils to create what we believe are the world’s most effective and beautiful essential oil blends.
How to Use Aromatherapy
Each oil has a distinctive “aroma” that can act on our moods and emotions. The calming scent of laven- der, the uplifting scent of Italian orange or the invigorating scent of rosemary are examples of the pow- erful effects that essential oils can have to instantly shift moods and thought processes. Breathing in the aroma is the most common way to get benefits of oils. It is easy and the essence of the oil in minute particles drift through air and into the blood stream nourishing the cells and reaching the mood centers of the brain. Aromatherapy from essential oils can be very effective in healing the spirit, mind and body. The typical ways one can benefit by aromatherapy is by diffusing the oils into the air, applying them to the skin or by adding them to a bath. There are multiple ways to use essential oils.
